I've been disabled for a few years now, but don't have enough money to do all the repairs I need for my home. Is there anyway I can get some help. Maybe a government grant of some kind.

If you were 65 or older you would have no problem, but you are like me underage.

there still might be some help though, try this number 803-734-2000 and ask for Ms.Valerie M. Williams, she's the Director of Housing Finance and Development Authority.

Try www.hud.gov/offices/hsg/mfh/progdesc/progdesc.cfm or www.hudclips.org

you can call 1-800-955-2232and ask about the HOPE1 Program, try www.hud.gov ask about section 14.142 Property Improvement,FHA under Title 1 at www.hud.gov/offices/hsg/sfh/title.ti_home.cfm

if you are in an older part of town try asking about section 223(e)if it's an urban area try section 14.122 and section203(k) www.hud.gov/improvements/index.cfm

Hope this helps.Good Luck And God Bless.
